What we collect and why
Business and Impact Org accounts
When you create an account, we collect your name, email, company name, sector, location, and WhatsApp number. This is required to operate your profile and connect you with co-funding partners and verified projects.
Project and contribution data
When you co-fund a project, submit a proposal, or complete a milestone, we record the details of that activity. This data is permanently recorded as part of Peyim's verified public ledger. This is the core function of the platform and cannot be deleted (see Your rights below).
Individual contributors
We collect your name, email, and identity verification documents (government-issued ID) when you subscribe and request financial transparency access. Your identity is never shared publicly. Only your chosen display name appears on the platform.
Community audits and votes
When you submit a field report or cast a Vòt Popilè vote, we record your action and the content you submitted. Your display name (not your email) appears on public submissions.
Sponsorship proposals
When you submit a sponsorship proposal to a business, we collect your name, email, organization, and proposal content. This is shared with the business receiving the proposal.
How we use your data

Your rights
Right to access
Email privacy@peyim.ht to request a copy of your personal data.
Right to deletion
You can delete your account from your profile settings. Important: your verified contributions to the public ledger are permanently recorded by design. Deletion anonymizes your personal identifying data (name, email) but does not remove the contribution events themselves. This is a core function of a transparency platform.

Changes to this policy
